Gourdfest 2011
This year marks the 20th anniversary of
Gourdfest.  We missed a year or two
along the way for one reason or
another, but the first Gourdfest was in
1991 in Fred's backyard.
Showers.

So we've gotten soft in our old age,
okay?
Apparently we came to the right place.
On Friday nights we're still relatively
presentable, so we headed out in
search of civilization.
Matt struggles with his brownie.

And presumably early onset diabetes.
Wabbits.  For Wabbit Stew.
Boredom setting in, we went off in
search of adventure.
We stayed in Cheesequake State Park.  The Parks Commission would
have you believe that it was named after a Native American tribe.  I think
they just like to make people giggle like a schoolgirl every time they say
the word "Cheesequake".  Go ahead, try it.  See?
Matt and Fred take a truce break from
Nerf Gun fighting.

About frickin' time I got my due.
In past years we brought board games,
but this is the first year all three of us
have iPads.  So this is how we rolled.

No, I mean literally - this is how we
rolled dice.  With iPads.
Another successful year of exploding
gourds has come to an end.
